Privacy Policy

AppSafe: Keep Your Apps Locked (Android package com.dreamsapp.appsafe). Effective date: 2 November 2026.

1. What the app does

AppSafe lets you choose applications to protect with a PIN. It uses the Android Accessibility Service to detect which selected application's window is in the foreground and display a PIN overlay. Enabling Accessibility is voluntary and can be switched off in Android Settings. AppSafe does not require accessibility access to browse its interface.

2. Information used locally

AppSafe stores a salted derived hash of your PIN (not the original PIN), selected protected application package names, protection preferences (including timing rules), and a local history of protection and failed unlock events. These details are used for app locking and display on the device. The app is designed not to transmit its PIN or local app-lock history to DreamsApp servers.

3. Accessibility permissions

The Accessibility Service observes foreground app package identifiers and window-change events to decide whether to show your lock screen. Its declared configuration does not request access to on-screen message text, and it does not need to read the contents of conversations. It can be disabled at any time in system Accessibility settings. The lock feature may behave differently on different Android devices.

4. Advertising and third-party data

The free version uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) for banner and full-screen interstitial advertising. Google and its partners may collect or process data such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, interactions with ads, approximate location inferred from network information, and diagnostics, according to their policies and your consent choices. AppSafe uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request and manage advertising consent when required. Read Google's Privacy Policy for more information.

5. Purchases

Optional monthly, yearly and lifetime ad-free purchases are handled by Google Play Billing. Google Play processes purchase and payment information and may provide purchase tokens and product entitlement status to the app. AppSafe does not directly receive or store credit card numbers. Restore purchases is available in the Premium screen.

6. Sharing and transfers

DreamsApp does not operate a server receiving your PIN or app-selection history in this version. The Google advertising and billing SDKs connect to Google services as described above and may transfer information internationally in accordance with Google's policies. Google-related service data is handled under Google's terms and privacy notices.

7. Storage and deletion

Your local PIN-derived data, locked app selections, and event history are stored in the app's private storage. Uninstalling AppSafe typically deletes this data. Data held independently by Google through its Ads or Play services is subject to Google's policies and controls.

8. Children and safety

AppSafe is not specifically designed for children. AppSafe does not claim to be an Accessibility tool for people with disabilities. The app does not replace the operating system's screen lock or guarantee that sensitive information is fully protected.

9. Your choices

You can disable Accessibility access, remove protected apps, use the advertising privacy choices offered in the application, buy an eligible ad-free plan, or uninstall AppSafe. Permissions and advertising choices may vary by device and jurisdiction.
